We began breeding puggles in 2005. Mark raised hunting beagles for 18 years before breeding the hybrid. He trained and bred beagles, and found that the beagle was the most healthly, durable, and dedicated dog breed that a person could ask for. Once he came across the hybrid, he found even more excellent traits that you could give to an almost perfect mans best friend. He decided to start breeding the beagle and pug to provide loving family pets. Puggles are smart, easy to train, have a very low shed, and are great with children and other animals which make them currently one of the most popular hybrid breeds today.
Our puggles are raised with our 4 children and are handled daily from birth until their new homes are found. This gives any type family, large or small, an excellent oppertunity to have a dog that is ready made for any enviroment. The hybrid puggle does well in any size environment from farms to apartments and anything in between.
At 6 weeks old, the puppies begin crate training to provide you with a jumpstart in your household training. We have found that this helps the new owners with potty training, obiedience, and adjusting to their new homes.
We breed only first generation puggles for two reasons:
First, because you get the best looking and best temperment
Second, its been proven that 2nd generation and above generation puggles have multiple health and physical defects.
